Guidance through My Aged Care and your assessment

CFAQ’s Support at Home services in Brisbane are funded through Australian Government programs, accessed via My Aged Care. After you contact My Aged Care and complete an assessment, you may be approved for an in home care package that helps pay for your services.

Our bilingual team can guide you through registering with My Aged Care, preparing for your assessment, and choosing CFAQ as your preferred in home care provider once you are eligible. We explain each step in both English and Chinese so you always know what is happening, what support you may receive, and how to move forward with confidence.

    Are You Eligible?

    Our service is designed to assist individuals who are 65 years of age or older (or 50 years of age or older for Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples) and experiencing physical limitations that make independent living at home and in the community challenging.

    Our aim is to enhance our clients' quality of life and to delay or prevent the need for long-term residential care by promoting independence. If you find yourself in this situation, we encourage you to apply for our service, as you may be eligible to benefit from our support.

    Support at Home Program - Service Information and Price Guide (Effective 1 November 2025).

    Support at Home program funded by the Australian Government and is available to eligible individuals who meet specific assessment criteria. The funding figures are based on the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Aged Care publication titled "Aged Care Subsidies and Supplements: Rates of Payments Effective 1 October 2025."
